Factory Coverage

Factory Coverage for Automobiles

Factory Coverage is just like it sounds — a warranty that covers your automobile similar to when the auto was purchased brand new. It also features unlimited mileage something that most factory warranties won’t give. This is an “exclusionary” policy, which in laymans terms means a policy lists the excluded items. As you can imagine, this is the best type of coverage money can buy. From our current coverage policy, here is the wording of what is covered:

Factory Coverage covers the reasonable cost to remedy any operating mechanical or electrical failure of the vehicle, for the time indicated on the contract application, except as specified as excluded, subject to the provisions, terms and conditions of this contract.

As you can clearly see, coverage of any operating mechanical or electrical failure essentially mimics the factory warranty. Standard exclusions such as fabric convertible tops, brake pads, tires, etc., do apply.

In addition to the Factory Coverage being the best coverage available, you can customize your coverage with coverage up to five years from the time of purchase, and four deductible choices starting at $50, $100, $200, and $500.

Available Accessory Packages
  • Accessory Package: Wear & Tear Coverage
Most warranty companies wont pay for parts that have simply “worn out”. As you can imagine, the description of a part being worn out is pretty broad. Genuine Warranty was one of the first companies to offer Wear & Tear coverage as an optional surcharge. We wanted our customers to decide if they wanted this coverage, and if they did, allow it to be purchased.
